Course Entry/Admission Requirements for B.A. in Community Development at Daystar University

The minimum requirement for enty into Daystar Bachelors Degree program is:

  • A mean grade of C+ (plus) and above in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), or 5 credits in International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) with 2 Credit passes in A level or Division 2 in General Certificate of Education (GCE).
  • On admission, applicants with a B- in English will be required to do ENG 214 while those admitted with a C+ in English will be required to do ENG 098 and ENG 214.

To join the university as a Government (KUCCPS) sponsored student, follow the steps below:

  1. First ensure you have received an invitation to our university from KUCCPS.
  2. Click here to login
  3. Enter the required login details
  4. The first time you login, you are required to accept or reject the programme you have been offered. Accepting the offer gives you the access to other services while rejecting denies you access to any other services.

a) Documents Required for Application & Registration

To apply or register for a programme, you are required to attach the following documents:

  1. Passport photo - a clear passport sized photo is required
  2. Scanned National ID - Applys to only Kenyan applicants who are above 18 years of age.
  3. Scanned Passport - applys to Non-Kenyan applicants
  4. Academic certificates - at least 2 academic certificates are required. Example KCPE & KCSE certificates.

b) Payment Details

Note: This only applys to self sponsored students.
