    Course Entry/Admission Requirements for BSc in Animal Health Production and Processing at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology

    To be qualified for admission into this program, the prospective candidate must have the following minimum qualifications:

    • Have attained a minimum aggregate C+ (Plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and a minimum grade of C+ (plus) in each of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics or Geography OR C (plain) in each of the following subjects: Biological Sciences, Mathematics/Physics and C (plain) in English/Kiswahili, or 3rd Group II subject, or a Group III subject, or any Group IV or any Group V.
    • Alternatively, admission may also be granted to holders of diploma in related disciplines approved by the Senate, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. 
    • Candidates admitted under AGR. 3 (ii) above, and having attained an aggregate of a “credit” grade or higher, may be admitted into the second year of study, while candidates having an aggregate of a “pass” grade shall be admitted into the first year of study.
    • Candidates admitted for Bachelor of Science in Animal Health, Production and Processing by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services (KUCCPS), shall satisfy requirements for admission specified by the Body for the year
