Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at Alupe University College (AUC)

(i) Common University regulations on admission will apply

(ii) The candidate must obtain at least the minimum cut-off point for the year as determined from one of the following subject clusters drawn from the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) at “B” level for each of the following subjects:- Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English/Kiswahili, and any other subject.

(iii) Holders of Diploma and other Degrees: Candidates with a diploma or other qualification with at least a credit pass in psychology or counseling related fields from institutions recognized by Moi University Senate MUST in addition, meet the minimum university entry requirement.

(iv) Candidates applying for Physical Therapy and possess a credit pass in ordinary Diploma must be registered and with a certificate of practice from Kenya Society of Physical Therapy.

(v) Those with other qualifications: Must have their results equated by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC)

2.) Pay the non-refundable application fee into the School Bank Account.

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST ACCOMPANY THE COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM

• Originals & a copy of all Transcripts, Diplomas, or Certificates (All originals, where necessary, will be returned)
•  Recent passport size photograph (write your name on reverse side)
• Copy of the National Identity Card or Birth Certificate
• Research Concept paper (PhD. Only)

Certified copies of certificates and original fee payment receipt MUST be attached to the application form and returned latest two weeks prior to the commencement dates given for the programmes.

• One Academic Year is equivalent to 2 semesters for full-time or 3 blocks for school-based mode.
• Diploma holders may take a shorter period to complete a Bachelors’s degree after credit transfer.
• Preferred Campus should be indicated on the application form.
