a) Mean Grade of B- at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) - C+ in Biology and B- in Chemistry, Maths or Physics and English or Kiswahili. A Weighted Cluster Point of 31 and above is mandatory or

b) "A" Level- Have principal passes in Biology, Chemistry and Maths or Physics. Additionally, must have had a credit pass in English at O‟level

c) Holders of Diplomas and degrees in relevant area of study.

Must have:

i) KCSE Graduates, have a Mean Grade of C+ and C+ in Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics and English or Kiswahili
ii) A‟ Level- Have principal passes in Biology, Chemistry and Maths or Physics. Additionally, must have had a credit pass in English at O‟level

d) Those with other qualifications: MUST have their results equated by the Kenya National qualifications Authority (KNQA) e) Proficiency in English

Self Sponsored Students

To join the university as a self sponsored student, follow the steps below:

1. Check the programme that you want to undertake and ensure you meet the programme qualifications stated in "Our Programmes" section.
2. If you have already registered, login into the portal to make your application. If you have not registered click on register and provide the required information
3. After you login, Fill in the required information in each step of the application
4. Finish the application process and submit your application.

Government Sponsored Students

To join the university as a Government (KUCCPS) sponsored student, follow the steps below:

1. First ensure you have received an invitation to our university from KUCCPS.
2. Click on login at the top of this page or at the bottom of this section.
3. Login using your KCSE index number
4. The first time you login, you are required to accept or reject the programme you have been offered. Accepting the offer gives you the access to other services while rejecting denies you access to any other services.
5. Fill in the the required registration details
6. Download your admission letter
7. Click to login to portal

Documents Required for Application & Registration

To apply or register for a programme, you are required to attach the following documents:

1. Passport photo - a clear passport sized photo is required
2. Scanned National ID - Applys to only Kenyan applicants who are above 18 years of age.
3. Scanned Passport - applys to Non-Kenyan applicants
4. Academic certificates - at least 2 academic certificates are required. Example KCPE & KCSE certificates.
