• Coffee cupping and technology is a course which trains its students in coffee cupping, or coffee tasting, is the practice of observing the tastes and aromas of brewed coffee. 

• It is a professional practice but can be done informally by anyone or by professionals.

• This Certificate course gives you the skills and training necessary to become a professional in understanding basic tastes of coffee and where different coffees should be slotted into blends.

Undergraduate Application

1. Two copies of this form should be completed and returned to the Registrar Academic Affairs & Research, Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, Private Bag, Dedan Kimathi-10143, Nyeri.
2. Attach two colored passport size photographs to the application forms.
3. This form should be typed or completed in BLOCK LETTERS.
4. Application fee charges are as follows:
   • KShs 500.00 for Diploma/ Certificate/ Professional Courses
   • KShs 1,000.00 for Degree Courses.
5. The applicant should deposit the application fee in one of the banks listed below and remember to get from the bank the pay-in slip and attach to the application form before submitting to the University:
