Course Entry/Admission Requirements for MSc in Accounting at Mount Kenya University

To be qualified for admission, the prospective candidate must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university with at least Second Class Honours Upper Division

Or

  • Second Class Honours Lower Division and two years of relevant work experience.

Admission to MKU is on a first come first serve basis so be sure to complete your application early.

  • Duly filled application forms should be addressed to the Registrar- academic Administration.
  • Application should be accompanied by copies of ID/Passport, relevant academic and professional certificates.
  • Application fee is as follows:
    • Ksh.1,000 (Certificates, Diplomas &Undergraduates programmes)
    • Ksh.2,000 (Post-Graduate programmes) for East African applicants
    • US Dollars 50 for all non-East African applicants.
