Course Entry/Admission Requirements for MSc in Nutrition & Dietetics at Mount Kenya University

To be qualified for admission, the prospective candidate must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Holder of Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minimum of Second class honors upper division or
  • Second Class Lower Division with a minimum of two years’ work experience (Regular/Weekend)

  • Duly filled application forms should be addressed to the Registrar- academic Administration.
  • Application should be accompanied by copies of ID/Passport, relevant academic and professional certificates.
  • Application fee is as follows:
    • Ksh.1,000 (Certificates, Diplomas &Undergraduates programmes)
    • Ksh.2,000 (Post-Graduate programmes) for East African applicants
    • US Dollars 50 for all non-East African applicants.
