1. Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree with at least Upper Second Class Honours from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology or any other University recognized by DeKUT   Senate and approved by the Senate.
2. Be a holder of a Bachelor Degree with  Lower Second Class Honours from DeKUT or any other University recognized and approved by the Senate provided the candidate has relevant Postgraduate qualifications or relevant work experience of more than two (2) years.
3. Be a holder of a Bachelor Degree with a PASS from DeKUT or any other   University recognized by the University Senate and approved by the Senate    provided such a candidate has relevant full professional qualifications or  relevant work    experience of more than five (3) years.
4. Be a holder of an equivalent qualification from other institutions recognized by the Senate as comparable academic qualification of Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, and approved by Senate.

Undergraduate Application

1. Two copies of this form should be completed and returned to the Registrar Academic Affairs & Research, Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, Private Bag, Dedan Kimathi-10143, Nyeri.
2. Attach two colored passport size photographs to the application forms.
3. This form should be typed or completed in BLOCK LETTERS.
4. Application fee charges are as follows:
   • KShs 500.00 for Diploma/ Certificate/ Professional Courses
   • KShs 1,000.00 for Degree Courses.
5. The applicant should deposit the application fee in one of the banks listed below and remember to get from the bank the pay-in slip and attach to the application form before submitting to the University:
