Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT)

The following shall be eligible for registration for the Master of Science in Telecommunication Engineering:

Either;

1. A holder of at least an Upper Second Class Honours Bachelor’s degree from DeKUT in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
2. A holder of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree of at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from an other institution recognized by the DeKUT Senate.
3. A holder of a Second Class Honours (Lower Division), Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree from DeKUT or any other institution recognized by the University Senate as being of equivalent academic status and who in addition must show proof ofany other institution recognized by the University Senate as being of equivalent academic status and who in addition must show proof ofeither two years of relevant experience and professional development or in lieu of such experience, academic advancement through researchand publication since graduation with the bachelor's degree or a postgraduate diploma in the relevant field.
4. A holder of any other qualifications recognized by the Senate as equivalent to the above.

Undergraduate Application

1. Two copies of this form should be completed and returned to the Registrar Academic Affairs & Research, Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, Private Bag, Dedan Kimathi-10143, Nyeri.
2. Attach two colored passport size photographs to the application forms.
3. This form should be typed or completed in BLOCK LETTERS.
4. Application fee charges are as follows:
   • KShs 500.00 for Diploma/ Certificate/ Professional Courses
   • KShs 1,000.00 for Degree Courses.
5. The applicant should deposit the application fee in one of the banks listed below and remember to get from the bank the pay-in slip and attach to the application form before submitting to the University:

2. Attach four colored passport size photographs to the application forms.
3. This form should be typed or completed in BLOCK LETTERS.
4. Application fee for Masters Programmes: KShs 1,500. 00
5. Application fee for Post Graduate Diploma Programmmes: KShs. 1,500.00
6. Application fee for Doctorate Programmes: KShs. 3,000.00
